I'm actually amazed at how much I got done today.
Worked at the comic store for 4.5 hours, made an appointment to get my hair cut (finally), paid some bills, swam laps for about an hour, fixed my PS2 (laser eye adjustment), and worked in the office for about 3 hours ( Read more... )

Congratulations on the productivity. I've been so unmotivated lately its impressive when I get the dishes done.

I still haven't gotten my PS2 reset perfectly yet. Where do you learn how to do that?

At "The Totally Awesome School for the Totally Awesome". A very selective enrollment.

Nah, not really. (Though that is a real place, and I did go there) I found a site on the intermanet, but can't seem to find it again. All the sites I see now have you using an osciliscope, and that's bull crap.

Pop the sucker open, remove the disc tray protector, and move the little white gear under there a few clicks clockwise or counter clock wise, put a disc in, replace the disc tray cover (holding in place with your hand) and test it. If it still doesn't work, move the gear again (maybe in the other direction). You'll eventually get it, though for some, it seems to work better when played vertically. Mine won't play laying down at all no matter how much I tweak it.

I've done the turning the wheel thing and once the game I'm trying to get to work does work then others won't. (Marvel vs Capcom 2 is just so darn picky! Grrrr.) Maybe I do need to change it to a verticl position, unfortunately I don't currently have the room for it. Such a pain in the butt.
Thanks.

MvC2 is a rough one. I haven't tried it since I adjusted. *crosses fingers*

Hmmm, I don't know whether I should be glad or not that others have the same problem. It means that it isn't just my particular copy that's twitchy, they all are.
The question then is can I sacrifice beaing able to play Transformers and Rumble Roses in order to play MvC2.

Unfortuantely, the hardest character to unlock is Thanos, who is my fav Marvel character. I'll probably never get him.
