Aight I feel like updating. And isn't aight a lovely word?
Well today was ok I guess. Not horrible. Lets see.............
In Algebra we finished learing about chapter 8 and we did a weird relay game thing.
In English we talked about MLA and Macbeth. I must be the only person in the world that doesn't have extreme issues with following the MLA format. That was boring.
In gym we had a sub and we watched a movie about lacrosse we already saw and did what ever we wanted with the lacrosse balls and sticks. I had an interesting conversation with Sabrina, Drew and kind of Nicole and Matt about drugs and stuff.
In Spanish we had a sub too. We did some work. The teacher wrote everyone in the class's name on the board in Arabic. It was pretty cool. And I talked to Erica and Kevin.
Chemistry was just bad like usual. Nobody understands what the teacher is talking about.
So that was school. Fun, huh? Pshh no but that's ok. Gotta make the best of it.
Yesterday was good. I spent the day doing church related things just like my away message said i was.
I was in the little parade thing where all the groups from the church had someone hold a banner representing their group. I was with the early preschool. The banner was really interesting since the kids basically made it with help from my mom. It was mostly scribbles. 2 of the kids from my class helped me and they were so cute. They seemed to be amazed by all the people in the church and they were walking really slow so the parade kind of got messed up. But they were cute so it didn't matter. One of the kid's moms told me that all week she was talking about how exited she was to hold the banner that she helped make. It makes me so happy to see how exited a kid gets about little things.
Then I went back to the class with the kids. There were so many kids there yesterday. We mostly played with play-doh and this little sandbox thing, then had snack. It was good.
Then there was a brunch. I sat/stood with the senior youth group and had some nice food. we enjoyed trying to move our fingers in circles going in opposite directions.
Then I went down to the cave with a bunch of people. Leif, Colin's 3-year-old brother, came and people just threw him around. It was kind of scary but he doesn't get hurt. He kept asking for me and he wanted me to dance with him. I attempted and I spun him around and rolled on the floor with him. And everyone was probably watching.
So then some of us youth group people went on the common for a bit and a few people played bocce.
Then we went to callahan state park to play ultimate frisbee. First we played in the woods on a little trail. It was actually kind of fun but really difficult since there were trees in the way. Then we tried again on a field that was really windy and filled with dogs. That didn't work out either.
Then I went to la casa de Douce. We watched Hook. That was fun. It actually is an entertaining movie. I used to watch it all the time when I was a kid but I hadn't seen it in a long time. Most of the people there saw it last week and they plan to watch it every Sunday until they memorized it. Not much more to say about that.
Then I went back to church for YAC (now called CCC). Mike drove me there and it was pretty scary since we were trying to lose Brett and he wasnt slowing down at all to turn. The bocce balls were rolling all around the mini-van. Then since we were there early, me, Holly, Mike, and Brett played Bocce. It was fun. I was better at it than I expected to be.
The CCC meeting was okay. I wasn't actually supposed to be there but it didn't matter. We talked about stuff. The most interesting thing I remember was what to do with next year's freshmen.
Then I was the actual youth group meeting. we had business, then did yoga, then candlepass. Yoga was nice. It wasn't even really a problem that I was wearing jeans. I love the relaxation part at the end.
Ok done updating. I worked very hard on that so you best comment.
