Midterms are done with
Yeahh so I think im gonna do a real update.
Midterms are over :-). I'm happy I don't have to worry about them anymore. And I did surprisingly well on them. We had every class today to find out our grades. So I guess I didn't have to worry about my grades as much as I should have. Not to brag or anything...I'm gonna post my grades.
A-Acting- I got a 99 on the final and an A for the class. Honestly I'm a little bit sad I didn't get an A+ just because its my first unweighted class I didn't get an A+ for. And the people I talked to did get one. But really I'm not a perfectionist I'm not. I just find it fun to pretend to be one sometimes.
B-English- I got a 98 on the midterm!!!! You really don't understand how happy I am. Remember when I thought I was going to fail? Then after I took it I was hoping to just not get a C. Then today the teacher said the highest grade is a 98. So when I got my test back I was in shock and I seriously almost cried with happiness. I had a C on the progress report so this is amazing.
C- Algebra 2- 97. Yeah I probably sound like some crazy smart kid right now. But without the scale it would have been a 95.5. I was impressed with myself. And I'm kind of surprised that I did so many little things wrong and still got an A+. And its not cuz my teacher is an easy grader. She said that she graded it harder before but the other math teachers got mad at her. Anyways, I have a 96.56 average in the class now. But I have a D+ for cooldowns. Hmmm
E- Chemistry- 90. That was exiting. I'm like the opposite of my class though because most people did the best on that question sheet but I got like a C on that. I did well on the multiple choice with an 88 average. And I got 40/39 on the lab practical!! Thats what brought up my grade so much. And because of the almost non-exitstent scale, I went from a B+ (89.08) to an A- (89.83). But these are all my calculations since the teacher refused to figure out our grade for us.
D- History- I got a 94 on the final. Not much more to add to that. I'm happy with that grade though.
F- Spanish- I didn't get my grade back yet. I think its going to be my worst grade though. I didn't study as much as a should have and today the teacher said that we will probably get worse than we expect. Then she mad us write down our predictions on a piece of paper. I hate doing that because you don't want to do too high or too low. And I was refusing to predict most of my grades.
G- 92 on the final. I swear that open note final was hard. Me and Jodi were complaining that it brought our grades down. The teacher just said that it was unlikely for us to get above our average in the class so that would bring our grades down a bit. I had 102 average for quarter 2 but now my final grade is a low A+. But I'm so happy I managed to keep an A+.
And those are my grades. I'm a very happy girl.
