it might be a better idea to maybe allow the poorer nations to use the known sources ot power to develope while the richer nations, who are already developed, move to sources that leave less of an impact. this way it would be cheaper and be less damaging to the enviroment and health of poorer nations and keep a nicer balance worldwide. then as the newer sources become more developed and cheaper the poorer nations can get them, or develope them for themselves.
one thing to remember is that what we are using right now is far less damaging to the enviroment and our health that what a lot of the world uses for power currently eg. wood.

every improvment, no matter how small, is still an improvment
wood - coal
coal - oil
oil - nuclear etc.

oil

nuclear

now i am guilty of only linking sites that deal with the bad effects of using each of these forms of fuels but a quick search of good effects of each of these forms of fuels would probably yield the same amount of evidence to support their use

obviously i am no expert on this but i cannot see the harm in allowing as many nations to contribute their own intelligence in on developing as many new technologies as possible that are better for the enviroment and personal health.

and the less humans with the ability and technology to work with, the slower progress will be in any fields let alone sources of power.

one thing that we are all guilty of in the west at one time or another is the thinking that because someone does not have the same culture, religion or form of government that they are somhow less deserving than us. we see evidence of this by how we treat and talk to other nations even today.

i think i'm getting a little too deep into it or maybe not idk.

i do know that if we want the fastest progress than we should not shrug off our own kind for whatever reason at all and should allow all people the same advantages as us. for better or for worse at least we would not be quilty of harming and hindering our brothers and sisters any more than we might be doing now.

whatever happens with us i think people should try to take more time to thoroughly examine all avenues before jumping onto any bandwagon either way.

i am really happy to get some responses out of this though.

what do you guys think?
