Dear Father,
I'm glad to hear things are going excellently over at the Quibbler, and yes, I think the article on You-Know-Who's upbringing amongst pixies would look wonderful as the cover story. And as for me, I've been spending most of my time on my studies lately, either that or practicing the tuba. My tuba and I have grown quite attatched to eachother. I'm glad you enjoyed the copy of the essay I sent you, Professor Lupin gave me a good mark on it as well, I can proudly say.
I look forward to spending Christmas with you and Auntie Jeremy and Grandmother Lovegood, please let them know that I miss them very much.
I shall see you soon! In less than a month! It's amazing how quickly the time has passed here, I've been so caught up in the comings and goings of school that I've hardly noticed it. Hopefully this last month will go by quickly as well, so I won't grow too impatient waiting to come home and visit.
I have some Transfiguration that needs practicing, so I am going to go work on that. And possibly play more tuba. I've already perfected Good King Wencelas. Any other Christmas carols you would like me to learn?
