I saw Letters to Juliet mainly because I like Amanda Seyfried a decent amount. It was a painfully cliched rom-com, but I did NOT expect myself to come away from it completely indifferent to the actors I actually knew, and more than a little charmed by Christopher Egan, who I expected to just be eye candy of the generic kind. Holy crap, he's not. He's got the snappiest line delivery in the movie (and was downright adorable with his snarkiness) and carries a bit of charm that I used to associate with Heath Ledger (the comparison is valid, considering they're both blonde Australians with wide smiles). I'm gonna have to finally get the time to sit down and watch Kings now.
