Bleh. I knew they'd have his eventual new love interest within the first few episodes, I just figured they'd have the decency to wait a bit before actually going there.

Marian deserves to actually be respected and grieved for a bit, and the new chick, whoever she may be deserves to not be shoved in as a love interest immediately just because the hero has to have one.

And Robin should be given a year or so to angst and kill things.

Here's the thing, Jonas Armstrong has said he's only doing three seasons, so this is his last. I think they're looking at it as if he doesn't have time to angst a lot. Personally I could have done without the girl completely and just let him have a season of rage and emo.

Honestly, if they want a central romance, there are single men on the show who didn't just have the woman they've been in love with since around age 5 (I forget when they met...) die in their arms.

I think losing the secondary OTP at the same time as the first might have thrown a wrench in things, but I don't know why they don't focus on Allan and let Robin mourn in peace and Guy go nuts as seems to be his fate. Also getting some new characters and letting them have some romance would have worked.

I can't even be bothered caring - I'm too excited about everyone else. I'm sure Marian will find someone better in... heaven, or something. :P

Tuck looks pretty epically awesome, so I have some hope. Season two sort of fell to pieces if you ask me and I'm afraid of what season three is going to devolve into. I'm going to miss Djaq and Will deeply though, even though I didn't think near enough time was spent on their OTP.
