Originally uploaded by crume. Many warm and happy congratulations to all the couples that have had their rights affirmed and can now finally legally wed in our most populous state.
Soon the proposed California constitutional amendment to ban marriage rights will be defeated as well.
We here in Arizona will soon have to poo-poo a constitutional amendment in our next state-wide election. McCain, Obama, Marriage Rights. We can do it Arizona! Make marriage the union between two who love each other, regardless of their lower appendages.
So, many blessings and well-wishing to the newest enfranchised group (available only in California and Massachusetts, offer void in 48 other states). May your divorce rate be lower than the heteros!
Seriously, maybe someone can bring some respect to the house of marriage.
