- got my ass handed to me in Monopoly, for the second time, by the same exceedingly-cute young lady
- started jogging again
- woke up with my alarm, rather than after 10,000 snoozes
- made some seriously awesome chicken tamales (thank you Rick Bayless!)
- purchased fresh lard from a carniceria (still warm!)
- made my own lard
- fried a pineapple tamale in said homemade lard and ate it, while getting my ass whooped at Scrabble
- did five fingertip pushups, plus another three with my arms extended horizontally
