In other news, I feel as though I've been watching a ton of movies lately. Here are some of the ones I really liked:
let the right one in - foreign film regarding a human/ vampire romance. Don't worry, it's way better than twilight. really gorgeous.
leon the professional - reminds me of nobakov's lolita + a hit man revenge movie? (I watched the extended edition)
alice - totally creative stop motion animation film about alice in wonderland. Also pretty creepy. Russian, and kinda old-ish?
fears of the dark - french animation, in black and white. also, really visually creative.
a tale of two sisters - i've seen this one before but I forgot how beautiful the cinematography was.
