Wandering in the desert

The current time is four pm. Light will hold until 7pm, and you can easily strike torchs if you wish to go further today.

Osilgard gathers corpses into a pile after his wounds are treated. (Ana’s heal check cures 2 hp and removes the arrow.)

Oulah skins one corpse and loots the others, revealing the following items:
One set of adamantine chain mail armor. (Bulky but serviceable to a medium biped)
One set of adamantine chain mail barding suitable for a large quadruped.
Two short bows, sized for large creatures. (Medium creatures can use them as longbows with a -2 hit penalty.)
Two score-count quivers with twenty seven standard arrows in total.
One shallow stone bowl.

Zaneak’s spell reveals that the stone bowl is indeed magical, radiating moderate transmutation magic. The lingering magic in the area suggests some sort of conjuration or divination ritual, although the details are unclear.
The ritual markings on the Lamia also radiate a fading magic, faint abjuration and moderate transmutation.

Alythana awakens the sleeping animals and sees to their health. (Ana and Alythana can heal the animals injured by the chaos hammer back to full health.)

Verealing sees to Luca and assists Oulah in his lootings.

Ana sees to the health of the injured people.

Please indicate which of the above items are taken by whom. Unclaimed items will be carried in wagon #3.
Another two hours of travel begins to see the light dimming. Camping for the night is beginning to become tempting, when a chill suddenly fills the air. The winds rises abruptly, and the hairs at the backs of your necks stand on end. Zaneak, you recognise the feeling of Deep Magic, the kind of sorcery that is beyond mortals. The animals shy nervously, and Alythana feels the uneasy presence of a part of nature more ancient than any she has felt.

A wind rises to a howl, and a cruel laugh seems to echo throughout the caravan.

A few moments later, a piercing cry like a falcon sounds across the desert. Approaching you is a massive creature, with the head and wings of a falcon and the body of a lion. It stands easily twenty feet tall, and occupies as much space as a wagon. (3x3 base.)
The creature is a Heiracosphynx. It is larger than any specimen any of you has ever heard of. They are evil, cruel, and none-too-bright.

Please post:
1) one round of action before the heiracosphynx arrives.
2) one rounds of action as the beast flies across the desert (clumsily) towards the caravan.

3) one round of action once it reaches attacking distance

The wagons are arranged in a single file line, with 20 ft between each 15 ft long wagon. I will try to find some effective way to communicate your tactical positions based on your responses to this post.
