Title: My stoic heart melts because of you.

Summary: It all started when Daiki’s mom died because it committed suicide when she was just seven years old, now she's already a matured 20 year old woman she wants to get revenge to her dad who's the cause of suicidal of her mom. Daiki can't trust boys at first but when she met someone suddenly her stoic heart melts and all of her plans were failed because of this boy.
Maybe sometimes we need to do a decision, a very serious decision to our lives. Because if you’re going to choose among the two things, you need to choose the one you’ll never and ever regret someday. For example if you’re going to choose between your friends and your boyfriend who will you choose? For me, there are so many boys here in earth but friends are just few, I mean real friends. What if you choose your boyfriend and on the time he already realizes that he needs someone else again for a change, where will you say your thoughts, your pain? When you feel like you’re going to cry who will lend you their shoulders for you to have someone who you can cry on. But, it’s your choice, that’s why if you make one decision don’t blame yourself if you chose wrong.
“Daiki, do you already choose a company for you?” Daiki’s mom asked. But, Daiki looks so depressed. Her desk was so full of request letter and her phone keeps on receiving mails. “Are you okay?” Daiki’s mom consult and she hugged Daiki from the back and kissed Daiki’s cheeks. “You can relax, you know that.” She said.
Daiki decided to go to the usual café to relax herself for a while. “What’s your order, miss?” The cashier asked and Daiki take a minute to answer. “Iced coffee, please.” Daiki ordered she help herself to search for a vacant seat because the café was unexpectedly have many guest today.
But, sadly Daiki didn’t able to find one and she decided to go back home but when she’s on her way out of the café someone grip on her arms. “We still have free seats.” That makes Daiki startled for a moment but she snapped back when Yabu pulled her into the café’s office.
“Eeeh, Am I allowed here?” Daiki confusedly ask.
Daiki able to relax herself inside the café while chatting with Yabu. “Oh, do you know that I need a manager here in this café.” Yabu informed. It looks like he also wants Daiki to work on him. “Really?” Daiki gladly asked.

On the next day, Daiki decided to visit the café not to order but to see how’s things going there and as she searched that Yabu’s company is one of the biggest here in Japan and it makes Daiki wants to work there. “Oh, Daiki-san.” Yabu approached Daiki and her cheeks turn in to a red one.
“Uhmm. I already decide that I’ll work here as a manager… Yoroshiku~” Daiki bowed her head as he give her documents to their President, to Yabu.
Yabu guide Daiki around the café and around their office and he also give the information about the sales and something’s that concerns the café. Daiki was a little fascinated because she didn’t expect that the café is quite large than she knows. “So, you can start tomorrow. We’ll be waiting for you.” Yabu said. Before Daiki leaves he called Daiki back to the office.
“By the way, this would be your table. Manager-san!” Yabu said and gave his best smile to Daiki.
For all what happened today, Daiki already forgot about Takaki. He already forgot about her promise to the guy, to the guy who keeps on waiting for his special someone to come but nobody’s coming. Each day Takaki is looking at the door’s room waiting for someone to open, that someone is Daiki. He wanted to see Daiki once again; he wanted to hold Daiki once again. He wanted to taste Daiki’s warm lips once again but how will he if Daiki won’t come to visit him.
Takaki locked himself to his room and he doesn’t allowed anyone to disturbed him and if they do, he said that he’ll commit something bad that’s why Takaki’s parent were both scared. Scared for what’s going to happen, what possible to happen.
“Takaki-kun, you need to eat your meal today because you already need to take up your medicine.” All nurses were trying to persuade Takaki to eat and drink his medication but the young man insisted not to take it for almost 3 days. “Just let me see Dai-chan, please.” The young man pleaded.
They were all giving sympathy to their patient named Takaki because he’s crying all day and night just to call the name of Daiki. They were all trying to contact Daiki but they didn’t have or know Daiki’s contact number or even her address. “We already called Daiki-san and she said that she’s going to make it up for you, she’s just really busy right now on her work and she said that you must eat your meal and take your medicine as well and if you don’t she won’t come here anymore” The nurses lied.
After that Takaki suddenly obey what nurses said. He all ate his meal and take his medicine but they still can feel Takaki’s pain. The pain that he’s with him right now and the pain that kills him little by little.

“Good morning.” Daiki greeted on her new co-workers and they all greeted back. They were fascinated how Daiki works hard on her job. Yabu is late today because he still has a meeting that he needs to attend to, that’s why the one who did all the work is Daiki, and for your information it’s her first day.
The work is going smoothly and the customers were happy on how the workers do their job. “Hmm, Can I talk to your manager? Please.” One of the customers requested. All of the workers are all quite nervous but Daiki is confident even if that customer has something against them. “Yes, madam, what can I do for you?” Daiki asked.
“Are you the shop’s manager?” She asked. “Yes, do you have any problem, ma’am?” Daiki asked. “No, I haven’t. It’s just that I want to compliment on how you manage your work, you really can be a best businesswomen if you try your best harder.” Daiki smiled after hearing those heart-warming words.
On Daiki’s first day she already received a compliment on the customer that increases her motivation to work harder than she’s doing right now. Daiki’s on her way back home when he bumped with Yabu on the way. “Yabu-kun…” Daiki called.
Yabu stopped his car and went on where Daiki is. “How’s the first day?” He asked. They both walk together until they reached the restaurant to take their dinner. “It’s all fine, the customers like our service.” Daiki blunted. They enjoyed their night eating a very delicious food and they even noticed the time.
The whole night is very precious for Daiki because she really adores Yabu. “I’m lucky that I hired you.” Yabu said while he patted Daiki’s head softly. Daiki’s cheeks turned into a rosy red and she suddenly hide it.
Yabu decided to send Daiki back at their home and apologize for sending Daiki late at night. On the car, the two were both quiet and that makes Daiki feel so awkward, but why Daiki will feel that? “Ne, Yabu-kun, do you have a girlfriend?” She asked out of blues. “I don’t have but I have someone who I like but that girl is too far away from me… I will never reach her.” Sadness captivated Yabu’s face and Daiki feel so sorry for it.

They already arrived at Daiki’s house and Daiki bid her goodbye to her boss and wait for it to drive back away from their house. When Yabu leaves, Daiki opened the door and put off her shoes. It’s been a tiring day for her but it all fades away when Takaki suddenly pops in to her mind. Because in the reality, Daiki loves Takaki and she always want to be with Takaki’s side.
Daiki went to her room to rest because she’s already tired and her eyes want to rest as well. “Oyasumi.” Daiki said to herself.
She expected that she will dream about Takaki again, because whenever Daiki thinks about Takaki in the night when she’s already sleeping Takaki will enter her dreams and begging her to come at the center but today is weird there’s no Takaki on her dreams. Maybe it’s a bad sign, she thinks.
Daiki can’t sleep because of it. She’s happy because she always sees Takaki on her dreams but how about today, how can she see Takaki even just in dreams. Daiki stood up to look her phone. She checked the calendar and it suddenly hit her that it’s already March, meaning the birth month of Takaki.
“Did I pick the wrong decision? I think I’m already regretting for it.” Daiki buried her face on the pillow and started to sob silently. It’s difficult for her to accept that she still loves Takaki but then still she’s still ignoring that feeling. She make herself to burdened more problems.
Maybe it’s true that she made the biggest and worst decision in her life but then she wants to change it. She wants to fight for her true feelings, until to the last. “I’ll fight, once more… for us. For the both of us.” Daiki encourage herself.

It’s a rainy morning and Daiki decided to woke up already and so that she can’t be late on her work.
“Ohayou, everyone.” She greeted and she went on the office to start her work. This day is going smoothly even though the weather is kind of bad.
Daiki decided to tell Yabu that she will take a day off on the 26th but she didn’t tell the reason why she needs a day off on the 26th.
After work Daiki instantly went home.

It’s already the 26th and she prepared a lunch and packed it on the bento box to bring at the Rehabilitation Center. Before going to the center she decided to stop on the cake shop for a while and she bought a birthday cake for Takaki. ‘I hope you’ll like it.’
Daiki already arrived at the center and she’s already one room apart from Takaki and she’s nervous because Takaki might hate him now. Because she knows that she broke her promise to the young boy. But, now she’s here, fulfilling that promise.
“Takaki-kun, you have a visitor.” The nurse said and Takaki didn’t pay attention because he thought that it’s just her mom. But when Daiki run on him and suddenly hugged him, Takaki looked at Daiki. “Dai~chan, you’re here. What took you so long to visit me again? What’s wrong? Why are you crying?” Takaki suddenly asked.
Takaki can’t explain his feelings right now. He thinks that his heart will explode right away. “I’m happy, really.” Takaki mumbled.
“Takaki, I’m really sorry if I’m so late huh. But you know, I already have a job. I’m so happy that they let me to take a day off today and so that I can visit you. It’s your birthday right? I bought a cake for you.” Daiki get the cake and lighted it on.
She asked Takaki to blow the candle but first Takaki must ask for a wish. “So, what’s your wish? Will you share it to me?” Daiki asked. Takaki suddenly move on her back and hugged her at the back. “I just want to get out of here and be with you on the outside world, forever. I just don’t want again to be a part from you.” Daiki’s tears broke down again. She can’t hold her feelings.
Daiki feels so bad because all she does is to hurt Takaki’s feelings while Takaki loves him tenderly and seriously all the time. She knows that Takaki is a playboy and doesn’t take love seriously but it’s different now. Takaki is crazy in-love with her. “Takaki, please forgive me for hurting you too much. But now, I already realize that I just can’t imagine my life without you. I know it’s kind of corny for me to say it but it’s true. I endure myself not to see you but every night you’re always bugging me on my dreams. I’m suffering because I left you all alone. But, I want to repent that sin I did. I want to love you truly once again, and I won’t leave your side again. I promise that.” Daiki hugged Takaki tighly on her both short arms.
