Johannah George Cole
Well i am now officially a mum. Chrissy i am so sorry i havent contacted you but i just got home from hospital and i didnt have any phone numbers to call anyone!!!
She was born on the 15th October at 9:18pm. Weight: 7 pounds 10 ounces.
I wasnt due till the 30th October but i went into the drs on the 14th and i had traces of protein in my wee. Combined with my blood pressure, it meant that i had pre eclampsia. My doctor told me to be back at the hospital at 5pm and i would be induced. So i had two hours to get organised. AFter being induced i spent the next few hours in labour. I spent a lot of time in the bath, which was fantastic and i ended up delivering Johannah in the bath too. I highly recommend that experience to anyone.
As we were ready to come home, Johannah developed Jaundice. As it appeared so late it was thought to be due to there being a mismatch between her blood and mine (me: A - Jo: B-) SO she had to spend a substancial amount of time under the phototherapy lights before she could come home. SHe is all good now.
