Self Distruct

It was about three in the morning. There was absolutely no reason to be awake at such an hour, but that did not keep one girl from staggering down the hallway ( Read more... )

Yukino woke with a start as she heard thumping and a loud voice at their dorm room door, glancing over at her roommate she noticed she was still deep asleep.

Moving towards the door she quickly called her elements, which formed an almost defensive barrier around her, before opening the door slightly. Taking a step back Yukino looked at the young woman in front of her, she did not look good.

"Are you ok? Can I help you?" Yukino asked politely

"Ahm good," the drunk girl slurred, hearing a voice talking to her and responding on pure instinct. Her arms unexpectedly shot upward as her voice rose as well. "Ahm the GREATest!"

Without a door to lean upon, her victorious pose caused her to wobble backwards, as well as to spill a little of her whiskey. Again she laughed, seemingly amused by her own antics. "Jus need....room ta stop spinnin'," she then managed to voice. The laughter began to subside after she attempted to get up, only to slip and fall on her butt.

"Jush, neet sum sleep," she continued on, finding her way to her hands and knees. "Gettin' tird now. Gonna, go sleep now." Mistaking Yukino and Cassarah's room for her own, the messed-up blonde began crawling inside the open door and heading towards whichever bed was closest.

Yukino looked sadly at the young girl slurring her words on the floor in front of her, she was a mess and she was going to be in pain in the morning.

Realising the strange blonde thought this was her room Yukino bent and placed a steady hand on her shoulder, "What number room are you supposed to be in?" She asked, trying to keep her voice down so as not to wake her roommate but also trying to be as clear as possible for the drunken girl. "Tell me your room number and I can help you get to your bed"

"Whoop...whoa!"

That steady hand distracted Jessie as she turned, trying to look over her shoulder. She didn't look where she was going, and forgot to balance herself on her own hand that was keeping her propped up. She sprawled out on the floor, bottle slipping from her fingers and landing sideways not too far away.

Jessie rolled over, her sunglasses sliding off her face as she looked up for the first time at the voice that had been speaking to her. "When did you get here?" There was a grin on her face, even though she had no idea who she was talking to. Placing her hands behind her, she propped herself up somewhat as she lied there on the floor. "You want my number~!" She said those words in a flirty, sing-songey voice, not nearly as concerned for the sleeping roommate as Yukino seemed to be. "Shouldn't you, buy me some dinnah firsht," she then teased back.

((OOC: I'm gonna have her wander around a little bit more. Partly because some of the other girls wanted in on this thread, and partly because that'd help avoid Cass and Roxy having to RP with one another when whoever it is helps Jessie up to her room.)) XD

Uneven steps carried the biker babe to the end of the hallway, stumbling forward in whatever direction Cassarah had been so kind to point her in. Once faced with a wall, Jessie took a turn to the right...only to find another wall. Again she turned to the right, and eventually came upon a door. Soon she had disappeared from sight.

Though her room was the first one on the second story, her door was actually the second door. The first, of course, led downstairs back down to the first floor. By the time she was in the stairwell Jessie had forgotten why she was on the stairs. Must have been on the wrong floor of something ( ... )

Like probably most Slayers, as well as a trained soldier, Nashira was a light sleeper. The smallest abnormal sound was enough to wake her up at any time of the night, should the case be that she was under attack.

The sound of someone falling against the door of her room was certainly abnormal enough for Nashira to immediately bolt up in bed, gun ready in case she had to defend herself. But she could not spy any intruder in the room, and the soldier girl allowed her guard to be a bit lowered. But she still picked up noises from just outside her room; maybe they were trying to get in?

Well, she certainly was not going to let anyone in her room that had no right to be there. And if Cassarah somehow managed to get down here and thought it was 'funny' to have a nice midnight chat ( ... )

Leaning against the door did little to help support the girl who crashed into it. Not when that door was suddenly opened, allowing Jessie to spill into Nashira's room like so many toppled bottles of beer before. Stumbling forward, arms that once grasped for the door reached out and caught the Slayer by her shoulders, too awkward and random to really be grappling her yet struggling to find any handhold they could. Jessie, however, hardly seemed to notice and did not seem to care.

"Ahm DRANKIN!" It was perhaps her most honest and most coherent response yet. A giggle turned into a chuckle turned into a hearty laugh as unfocused green eyes looked upward at the girl she used to support her weight. "Come ohn, you wanna dranhk suhm, tooh...?" A wide smile crawled across her face. "It'll be, be fuhn...."

Nashira turned her head to one side when Jessie fell into her arms. She could live with the physical contact, but her nose was rather offended by the unpleasant waft of alcohol coming from Jessie's breath.

"Yes, I already figured that. You are obviously quite drunk," the soldier stated rather coldly. "But why are you here before my room and what are you doing in my room? Go drink somewhere else. I have to get up early tomorrow morning. You may not have any early classes tomorrow, but that doesn't mean the rest of us don't."

There were nights where she slept fast like a rock, and there were nights where the pain and nightmares troubled her. This night was one of those troubled nights. Laurian had only just woken up from a nightmare, the same that had been bothering her ever since she was rescued, and going back to sleep was out of question with the pain in her arm distracting her.

She knew Rei wouldn't mind it if she went to her for some comfort, but Laurian didn't want to disturb her lover's rest. Maybe later, when it was close to morning. Maybe then she'd go down and find the comfort of her girlfriend.

It was then that she heard someone approaching her door, and then the fumbling at the door. A wry smile appeared on the Slayer's face. It would be like Rei to have felt her troubles through her sleep and then to come upstairs. Laurian mentally prepared herself for some mild scolding as she went to answer the door.

The door opened to reveal not a short Asian, but a rather tall American. A rather tall girl who was heavily intoxicated, possibly on drugs, hardly aware of where she was, and who looked disoriented and confused more so than just about anything else.

"Lost mah bottle," she drunkenly slurred. "Ain, got no mor beer." Staggering, she stumbled forward more than she actually walked. "Think, might be tahm, get me sum sleep..."

It was not exactly the sight Laurian had expected, and it took the Slayer off-guard for a moment. When Jessie staggered forward, though, she immediately responded by reaching out. The last thing she needed was a girl crashing on her floor... Rei might get the wrong ideas.

"Jessie, do you know who I am?" The wafts of alcohol told Laurian enough about how drunk the girl was, and she had this idea Jessie might do more than just drinking. "You are not at your own room. This is the third floor. But I can help you to go to your own room."

OOC: I miss the perfect "Oo" pic for Laurian...

That strong arm caught the stumbling girl, keeping her off the floor. "Don' care, toots." The blonde shrugged her shoulder, pushing the supporting hand from her shoulder such that she could continue to wander. "Ahm tired," Jessie said in a weary voice as she eyed the empty bed. "Ahm dizzy. Dun' care the damn room. An' ah wanna go sleep now."
