Lake Lanier Mishaps...

May 24, 2005 21:07

As I sit here awkwardly from behind my computer monitor several feelings come to mind... tiredness, soreness, mental agony (@ still not being able to get up on a waveboard), and a freaking joyous splendor that overwhelmingly makes up for the fact I can't move my neck to the left. I spent today (& part of yesterday) up at Lanier courtesy of Bill Reed, Mr. KSU but lover of all that is UGA; thus, he's deserving of much respect (plus he has a lake house need I say more). It's awesome to see friends you rarely see and have a blast with them. Truly awesome. The day was absolutely prime for some tubing. It was too rough to really get some good skiing in and just warm enough to warrant being in the water the entire day. It was glorious. We went out just after breakfast (Sonic Breakfast Burrito) and started the day right. After Rob bitch-slapped Lanier by not ever falling off the tube (he was upside down under the tube and still had a death grip on it) it was my turn. I held my own but ultimately it was wake in combonation with a whipping turn that threw me off the raft and skidded me about 10 feet across the top of the water to my end. After a couple of other wipeouts of not near quality it was Niel that got eaten by Lanier (first victim of the day). In about the same manner as my quality wipe out Niel (140 pound guy) was tossed about twice as high as me and landed upside down, skidding across the water top. He was still trying to catch his breath when we rolled in next to him. Speaking of rolling... there was a speed boat that had rims on it. They were tied to the side of the boat and when the wind passed through them they spun... it was sick:). After lunch at the house and begging the gas guy for some gas despite they were closed today (it worked), we went out again. We brought an extra tube and has some tube wars. We kicked, we pushed, we flipped each other, it was freaking awesome. At one point I took out the reigning champ (micheal)... this was acomplished by a combonation pantsing and pushing manuever. Shortly thereafter I ate it hard and racked myself (imagine going like 24 mphs spread eagle into water). Actually don't... because I wouldnt want that on anyone. The only other fall to speak of which was just cool was a little tumble I took. I was sitting in the raft during tube wars when we hit some crazy wake... I shot up about 5 feet in the same sitting position I was in minus the tube. It was one of those WTF happend to my tube moments. Waveboarding was unseen... but thought of fondly. Ended the day with a beautiful summer night BBQ and now Im about ready to fall fast asleep. Tomorrow I'm freaking working... yeah baby- I'm working the Pottery Barn... then I'm working the Jcrew at some point this weekend (not sure the exact timing yet... wooo for being a client specialist!) Pottery Barn should be cool right... ahem... shush. Apparently Segale might have an internship oppUrtunity for me... so who knows- that might work out but we'll see ya know:). Other than that- I collected a couple more wine boxes for building of the bar next year... so rock.

ANS: 5... There is simple sex (2), then there are threesomes as well as foursomes.. then along comes an orgy with five people. Sponsored question from Sparling;).
