I dont' like the idea that all these big bookstore chains are dying out, because I love killing hours in them reading and browsing. However when one does go out of business I make sure to stock up! The Borders at Howard HUghes Center is closing, and they have the "everything must go!" signs up. Last time this happened around Westwood, I waited until the 60% off signs were up, but by then I had missed out on a ton of cool books and stuff I wanted. So with this on on the 20-40% phase, I rushed in for a bounty:
Blu-Ray:
Lord of the Rungs Trilogy
The Dark Knight
Manga: Ikigami vols. 2 and 6 (bringing my collection up to 1,2,3,6...yes a random assortment but i love it)
Comic:
The complete Infinity War (More Thanos goodness, use of the infinity gauntlet toward godhood, etc)
Books:
Uncle John's Bathroom Reader Extraordinary Book of Facts and Bizarre Information (I'm a trivia junkie and I havne't had my fix in years)
World War Z (zombie war documentation - I've wanted this book ever since it came out but never had the money to spend on it)
Booky Wook 2 (Russel Brand's uhhh biography? I read a few lines and it sounds hilarious)
Modern Military Aircraft 1945-Present Day (for my dad)
total for that was about 200 bucks. Hopefully it will keep me entertained and I won't buy anything else for a few months. The PS3 is a wonderful blu-ray player actually!
