Welp
There was this wonderful young lady who was in my class for tsa named Sasha and she was a pretty putspoken, humerous, quick-witted chick. beautiful jamaican dark skin, peppy personality...pretty much really cool in like evry way, and she was dope attractive. So in our training for phase 2, she broke up with her boyfriend and complained that "she could never stay single". Welp, I've been talking to her recently on the times we have some downtime (11-midnight basically) at the terminal, and she really is quick with clever comebacks and everything, so I felt I could be at least a little bit more relaxed around her. It was awesome for this past week as we basically clown on anyone who was overly ghetto there (a lot of people), talk about food and jamaica (and funny jamaican accents), etc. regular things. So she says something and I start quoting songs with the lines she says. And she's like, "chandler do you have any brothers or sisters" and I'm like yeah i have a brother.
"Well that's why you act so WEIRD".

Anyway, I just bought a Playstation 3 finally FINALLY, and Shadi was a dear and Jailbroke it for me, threw on a few ps3 games though he didn't have Street Fighter so I'm gonna have to go buy that maybe. But still, ever since my 360 Red Ringed I've just been on WoW, and it's just tiring for me now. I odn't feel like there is much in the game that I want to do left that would require the time I have. raids take place while I'm at work (6-12 is when most normal people have off work), and collecting mounts and acheivements hits a similar wall when I have to be in a large group. So Having this PS3 will be great since I can get back into REAL gaming like Mass Effect, Spider-Man, castlevania, etc. I havne't beaten any 1-player games since Split/Second back in Vegas.
Yeah I've been to arcades and played fighting games and dance games but ehhh those don't really count at this point.
My next short-term goal is to get a decent HDTV, though I think I'd rather continue saving for an apartment...though I still don't know what my actual paycheck is. Whatever it is, it will be next pay period (2 weeks from now) then I can plan my future year in advance. If I can ration my money right I should be moved out by April - The PS3 was part of that in that this 300 dollar purchase means I can cancel XBL, cancel WoW, and I don't have to buy any games in the near future. This saves money on my entertainment that can go toward more dance games or savings. I'll have to see how my car payment affects my new checks.
As far as What i'm doing in my free time now, sinc i have friday and Saturdays off (and I have most of sunday free anyway) I'm reconnecting with people. I caught up with my old roomate-turned-friend Josh and all his buddies this past weekend at his place, making drinks and talking about music and nerdy stuff. It was really nice to have a small group of friends with drinks (no one getting "fucked up") and we all were talking. Just a small get-together. I also Hung out with Phil and went to Long beach Powerstation for the first time in years, to check out the Pump it up Fiesta EX cabinet and game.
The Pump Ex cabinet is the best cabinet for any arcade game ever.
