I haven't written much lately. Lord, I wish I had the time to write in here every day. I was on a computer all day yesterday between 8:30 am and 11:00 pm at work, and then doing research for our trip to Europe. We depart for France on Saturday and it's absolutely insane. The preparations involved - planning, packing, and getting my house ready to be housesat - are insanely time-consuming and I haven't even had time to go to the gym.
I did, however, have time to watch the Lost finale, and can I just say that Sayid is an awesome superninja and they really need to give him a more central role. The best part of the whole thing: when Sayid killed someone. With his feet. WHILE TIED UP. Damn straight!!!!!!
I will be sure to write my sayonara entry before I make my way to Toronto for the flight.
I have never been overseas before, so this is bound to be a magnificant experience. We are doing (in order) France, Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Denmark. I am a seasoned traveller in North America, but my extensive experiences in the US do not really prepare me for the culture shock of going to Europe. Crossing the border into the states is familiar territory and culturally, only slightly different.
