The Earl attempts to kidnap Lenalee, seeing how special her Innocence is, and drags her onto the black Ark. Allen, Lavi, Alma, Krory, and Chaoji end up on there and everything proceeds the same as in canon, with Alma replacing Kanda as Skin's opponent.
At the end, the Fourteenth and Cross show up to stop Tyki and the Earl, as well as to hijack the Egg, which they've been doing while the others were fighting. In a resulting explosion, the Earl's sword finds the Fourteenth instead of Cross.
The Fourteenth manages to open doors for the others to go through to get onto the white Ark.
