Everything in modern society is structured, labelled, and priced. It all happens in a certain order with certain guidelines. Fights between couples have to end in make-up sex. Two enemies have to meet up at a certain location to battle out their differences. The guy has to ask out the girl. Women are the weaker sex. Intelligence comes second to fashion sense. Et fucking cetera.

Which is why I'm so glad I got stuck with you as my lover. It's never dull, always changing, and full of intellectually stimulating events and discussion. Definitely far beyond the rulebooks of a standard relationship. I could never tolerate someone who let these issue pass by unacknowledged, which is probably why we've been able to tolerate each other for almost five years.
