the year of giving, month 9.
i was going to say that this month is a very special year of giving, but that's what i said about last month. so whatever, this month is, too.
those spca commercials--with the mangy dogs behind fences and skinny cats crawling on things with bugs in their eyes and sarah mclachlan talking all sadly with her sad music playing in the background--absolutely kill me. i have to look away and cry silently in my pillow, because they're just so sad and i can't stand it.
so this month i'm going to donate my $30 to the san francisco spca. hopefully my little donation will help a little kitty or puppy find a home. or get neutered. or get some crwunchies to eat.
