my thoughts on pandora vs. last.fm...
ok, i've come to a conclusion. it's short: the songs pandora chooses to include in the radio station are a little less-common than the ones chosen by last.fm.
i'm listening to an erasure station on last.fm, and so far it's played "west end girls," "situations," and "forever young" (holy SHIT i love this song. GOD).
granted, i love every one of those songs, sometimes i want to listen to things that are a bit more obscure. something that i wouldn't necessarily find on any '80s compilation in the world, both bought on tv or otherwise.
so i'll listen to last.fm when i want my fix of songs i'm expecting, and i'll listen to pandora when i want something unexpected and obscure.
