last night the hairdresser came over for our weekly bravo-tv-watching wednesday night extravaganza, where we cook something new (this week, we made
shrimp curry that was fucking awesome) and hang out and watch "top chef." bravo tv is making sure that we hang out with each other at least once a week -- just when "top chef" ends, next week "shear genius" starts, and in july, fucking "project runway" starts again. in any case, i'm glad for it. and the shrimp curry was good.
so last night was the "top chef" reunion show. it was kinda anticlimactic, i think, but the reunion shows usually are. a bunch of montages and blah blahing and talking about "what went on in the house," which, really, who cares. jen and zoi seem to be all weird about their relationship -- a couple of my friends have mentioned that they're broken up, but the hairdresser and i discussed that the people who think they've broken up don't know the intricacies of fucking lesbian relationships. in fact, jen and zoi probably got married this week at city hall, dude. in fact, i'm sure they did.
oh, and everyone still hates lisa.
i can't believe this is the first time i've blogged about my love of "top chef" -- i know this because it just created a tag for it. in any case, it's my favorite thing on tv ever. more so than
the search for elle woods. mostly because i love food, partly because i can't cook and am impressed by everything food-related.
tonight i have my acupuncture appointment at
this place. i'll come back with a full report tomorrow.
