Obligatory Classes-Start-Tomorrow Post

Iakobi mou and I enjoyed a delicious meal and pitcher of beer at E9 tonight that was most tasty and fun, except for the bad soft rock-core singer drinking his mega-sized beer.

As usual summer has rushed past in the blink of an eye. I have no idea where it went or, for that matter, from whence it came. I feel like indulging in a Top-10-Rad-Things-About-This-Summer List:

1) Road trip with Alicia all over the great northern west
2) Summer Research Grant money to live on
3) Summer Research Grant to keep me busy, aid in thesis, maintain the Greek, and maintain my love of Aeschylus
4) Free shit from Lina
5) Seeing/living with Julie again
6) Getting drunk a bit too often
7) Living with Iakobi mou for a good month
8) Frequent indulgences in sushi
9) Seeing the extended fam in MN
10) Awesome thrifting

And, I suppose a list of the 5 not-so-good things about this summer would be appropriate, too:

1) Alicia, Amanda, and all my dearest seniors graduate and move on
2) Moving out of my house with Amber and Drew
3) Moving from TX leaving many things, relationships unresolved and hanging
4) Being really far from my grandfather while he's been having bad health
5) Not going to live in Athens

What else to say? I'm totally terrified of being a SENIOR and entering into, yet again, a stage of absolute flux, which is nice because of the endless possibilities and also mortifying because I've got to work to find a venue for my future happiness once again.

This semester just might prove the death of me, but I don't believe in death, at least not for me anyway, so it looks like I'll have to keep on truckin' as hard and as fast as I can. Gross.

Needless to say, I need to get ready for school tomorrow by getting shit together, figuring out what to wear, having a cigarette, and going to bed, as I have German bright and early at 10 tomorrow, or this, morning. Sweet dreams, kids.
