Interview for Womenverse

Jul 04, 2014 23:13

We had to interview one of our favorite characters, so I decided to do the Proust Questionnaire (idea borrowed from catko) with Annie Wilkes from Misery. Not sure how many of these answers are in character for her, but I did the best I could. I think Annie is a funny character, so I guess I was just trying to have fun with her. :P

come on down to Florida, I got something for you )

Yay, thank you so much! I figured she'd just talk about Paul Sheldon as much as she could. :P

This is very cool. And... obsessive much? She's quite scary, but very interesting. :D

Thank you! I know there's (a bit) more to her than her obsession with Paul Sheldon, but it's been so long since I've read the book that I had to base this off the movie and this is basically all she talked about even around the man himself LOL.

I remember seeing previews of this a long time ago and I think you summed up part of her character perfectly. LOL Now I just have to watch the movie and read the book!

Yes, I definitely recommend the movie! The book too, of course, but I just watched the movie again last weekend so I'm partial to the movie at the moment. Plus, Kathy Bates is a brilliant actress.

Is it really bad I've never heard of Paul Sheldon?

Not at all! He's a fictional author from the book/movie Misery. :D
