My mother surprised me on two fronts today.

First was at breakfast.

mum: "Oh I was watching that movie where Arwen's daddy dressed up as a woman!"
me: *computing very fast= Arwen daddy = Hugo Weaving = OH GOD SHE WATCHED PRISCILLA = waits for the condemnation of the entire gay community to unfold*
mum: "...Guy Pierce was quite hot back then, wasn't he? Very chiselled."
me: *choke*

Second was when we were shopping and I dragged her into EB Games because you know, I'm hopeless like that.

mum: "...eyes the Wii* "You know, maybe we should get a Wii."
me: "eyes mother" ....whhhy?
mum: "Well, I saw you playing that game where you rolled up the British Parliament and Buddha, and I thought 'gee, that's pretty fun.'
me: "..."
mum: *wanders around, picking up Wii things, humming "highness~" under her breath.*

In conclusion: My Mother. Let me show you her. XD
