Rules for Players
    • Be courteous and respectful to your fellow players. Should a problem arise that can't be settled between players, please contact a mod via the mod email (cptganymede@gmail.com) to file a formal complaint. Aim contact is to be used only in case of an emergency or questions about an immediate plot or detail.

    • Regular questions and suggestions should go in the FAQ.

    • The roleplay is not a place for personal drama and players are asked to keep conflicts not related to the game, out of the game.

    • God-modding is not allowed. This means directly or indirectly controlling another player's character, and inferring actions or events about that character, without the player's express permission.

    • Concrit is acceptable, but criticism en masse is discouraged. Feedback is always most useful during play, so courteous communication between players is encouraged. If issues cannot be worked out among players, a complaint or OOC concern is to be sent to the mod email.

    • Big text, effects, and large blocks of text are encouraged to go behind an lj cut. NC-17 logs should be cut and locked with a proper warning.

    • Het, Yuri, and Yaoi are all acceptable, but only among characters aged 16 and up. No exceptions.

    • There will be no original characters. Only one AU version of a canon character is allowed. There does not have to be a canon version of a character in play for an AU (the 'Anomaly') version to be applied for. The limit of characters per player is four, with no more than two from the same fandom.

    • Applications for characters in media that have not yet been released to the general public are not allowed. For films, television shows, anime, manga, and other visual media, non-English, subbed releases are acceptable. For video games, English releases are preferred, but not absolutely necessary. This is in place for multiple reasons, not the least of which are accessibility to the material, comprehension of the material, and those ever-present spoilers. However, all of this is judged on a case-by-case basis and allowances can and have been made to players. If you're unsure about a fandom that you wish to apply for, please contact the mod.

    • Characters of most shapes and sizes are allowed, unless it inhibits them from functioning on an enclosed ship. Is your character a Transformer? It's likely that they're too big and will need to be either shrunk or changed into human form. A mermaid? Sorry to say, there aren't any bodies of water, so they may need to be human, too. If you're not sure about a character, please feel free to ask!

    • Characters can be post-canon or AU deaths and whether or not they remember these deaths is up to you! For consistency's sake, all previously dead characters will be alive again upon their arrival.

    • Character-driven or character-caused plots are allowed and encouraged, but please contact a mod for approval before any character plots are put into play.

    • Activity checks will occur every two months or so; the minimum required activity at the time of the check will be three journal entries, or two journal entries and a log. Allowances will be made for newly arrived characters, player hiatus, and other extenuating circumstances. If a hiatus longer than three weeks is needed, the player is asked to contact a mod.

    • Entries in the main community and the log community should be tagged with each character's full name.

    • All players must put their application - minus the samples - in the profile of their character journals, or provide a link on the profile to an entry in the journal itself with the application. This is for the benefit of other players who may not know the character/fandom and would like to read up on who they will be playing with.

    • Backdating and future-dating are perfectly acceptable! Simply note them when posting logs or entries.

    • Please use this format when posting in the log community.

Rules for Passengers
    • There is a two-hour curfew during which all passengers must remain in their cabins. This takes place from 3 AM to 5 AM every morning.

    • The captain maintains a strict no-violence rule. Should a disturbance endanger a passenger, a member of the crew, or ship's systems, security will be dispatched.

    • The barcode present on each passenger's palm will serve as their identification tag and access to ship facilities, the communication system, and cabins. Passengers are advised against tampering with it in any way.

    • Crew quarters, the freight dock, the bridge, and any levels closed for maintenance are strictly off limits. The captain is enforcing a no-tolerance policy on this issue; rule breakers will be severely punished.

    • As per company policy, outside calls, messages, and pulse transmissions must be cleared with the communications officer before they can be made.

    • Use of the in-ship holo communication system is open to all passengers, but the captain asks that individuals try to refrain from vulgar, offensive, disruptive, or damaging messages as a courtesy to their fellow passengers.

    • The ship-issued orange jumpsuit is not required dress, but it is advisable for all passengers to keep their suits in the event of certain emergency situations.

    • No passenger may leave the ship under any circumstances for the duration of the voyage.

    • Please do not expectorate on the floor or defecate in the pools.

Game Conditions
    • The roleplay is currently in the second half of it's overall life cycle.

    • Rough estimate of game time remaining: six months.
