[the commander hasn't moved since he was last seen, still seated behind a console on the darkened bridge. the only difference now is that he has slumped forward, head on his arms, breathing slowed and shaky.

he's not asleep, however. he mumbles tiredly, shoulders shaking, talking to himself]It's still seven days until the ship hits that thing... ( Read more... )

Ohmygod, that shit's bananas! o.o; And deliciously evil. *coughs*

So, it takes a few tries to really reach that three and so hours sleep thing, am I correct in thinking that? Kind of like a "going, going, gone" type of deal? And if someone else is with the person who fell asleep, will that person disappear immediately? Or just when that time's about to run out and it's time for the person to wake up, will they disappear then?

Yep, right on the going going gone end! But as for the second one I say that right when time runs out they disappear. The waking up will happen back in their room.

So what happens if someone is killed by someone else's nightmare? Where do they 'respawn'?

HMMMMMM now that is a good question.

Why not go by game norms and say in their own room? :3 ...in which case they will respawn to their own nightmares, so too bad for them, I suppose!

Sorry, another question >.>;; What about characters who share rooms? What if they fall asleep around the same time (or one comes after the other) and don't resolve their bad ends, how would those visions be treated? Would they sorta merge together in some way?

And actually, you say sleeping will heal the burns, but what about nerve damage done because of the burn? The Doctor's got a couple useless fingers right now...

I would say the two players in question can work that out amongst themselves. :3 Would you like them to merge or would you like them to be separate? I'm sure you could pick something that works for the both of you.

It'll heal the burns and all the damage they caused. ;D

Can killing be involved? >.>; (I was thinking of Ten being there and being forced to watch all this...)

Killing is most certainly okay by me! Want for the TARDIS to die then, or...?

Ohhhh, how can I say no? I'd think that the day she dies is one of his worst fears.

One wonders, should I get online so we can discuss more? >.>;
