Is my very favourite re-make of Romeo and Juliette. Makes me all misty.
Sometimes when people touch me, I have the near-undeniable urge to scream "Don't touch me! NOBODY fucking touches me! EVER!!!!", just to see their reaction. It would be made way worse by the fact that I can really fucking roar. Seriously. You can hear me for MILES. Once we were in a crowded movie theatre and I turned to my friend out of the blue and yelled "Hey, Fucker, I don't know who the fuck you are, but if you touch me there again I'll break your fucking face!!!". He was a little embarassed I think, if the mingled look of shock, horror and dismay was any indication. I thought it was hillarious. I think we were both - what - thirty?
In addition to doing all the sales and business development for our company, I handle technical documentation as well (and severakl other things - yeeesh Jesus). Last month I finished a 200 and some-odd page user and administrator help manual for our software (both hard-copy and on-line versions). First reports on it came in yesterday. They can be described in one word - Glowing. That and the fact I've lined up 4 solid client meetings this afternoon alone with several hours left to go makes this a good day.
`Bec - I want to do tea with your Buddhist nun roomate. This weekend maybe?
Oh - and I saw Maria's band The Whore-Moans last night down at Kensington. Fuck, but did they ever Rawk. Totally and absolutely true to the spirit of `77. They had the place shaking like a van full of horny baboons. `Twas fucking incredible. I've not spoken much about how much I *HEART* Planet Kensington, but someday soon I shall. It's 10 feet wide by 25 feet long, and jammed full of some of the craziest phreeqs and solid folks one could ever hope to meet.
I'll have my digital camera working again this weekend, so I want to start posting piles of pictures of some of my bizarre adventures. Does anyone have any pointers re: on-line storage space for pics?
Oh - and last night, I managed 435 push-ups. Go me.
