Finally, belly dancing has started up again. Conveniently at around the time the doctor was ok for me to start going back to the gym and being more active. :) We've started working on a dance to... yep, Shakira, lol. We usually do group dances to various Greek songs which seem to be about getting rid of a guy you don't want or turning down one who you're not interested in. Not this time, this time it's Ojos Asi which, if I remember right, is about falling in love with someone with amazing eyes (do correct me if I'm wrong). So, slightly different for us this time. :) It seems like the dance is going to focus a lot on elegant, flowing arm movements coupled with sharp hip moves. The hips I've got down, being elegant on the other hand... we'll let's just say I can only improve!
If I ever manage to look anything like this I'll be well chuffed. :D (Well, I've got the curly hair and tiny chest down, lol, now I just need some serious work on my moves).
