The Rules:
1. Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your favorite lyric to your current favorite song. Or your favorite kind of sandwich. Something random. Whatever you like.
2. I'll respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. Update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. Include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.
So, here's what
Alyse asked me:
1. Tea. Is it really the best drink of the day?
Yes and no. Yes in that it's lovely, but sometimes a G&T can be called for. :)
2. How many weetabix can you eat? Be honest!
In one go? I think the most I've done is 3, but I reckon I could probably manage about 5. If they're covered in sugar that is (which kinda defeats the point of them being healthy, but never mind).
3. How did you get involved in Belly Dancing? Was it a conscious 'oh, I want to try that' decision process, or did you get dragged, kicking and screaming, into a class? Or did you just drift there?
I'd been wanting to do it for a few months, but I'm not really sure when I started to like the idea. Tracey and I were looking at activities on the council website and that was the one that appealed to us both the most... and 9 months later we're still doing it. Yeah! Just danced at a Hafla too, so I should be getting the DVD of that in the post next week (I'll be watching for the bit where I'm sure I went the wrong way).
4. Which user icon do you covet? By that I mean, what user icon (that isn't yours) do you see and yearn for and think 'oh, if only I was less moral/this person wasn't on my flist, I would have that half inched and on my userpics page in a heartbeat'?
Hm, a good question. El's given me a couple, but as for ones I'd nick... probably
davechicken's I am death icon. :D It's so cute!
5. The fried mars bar thing? That's the greatest prank pulled on the English ever, right? I mean, no one actually eats them do they? Not without being sick?
Well... I have to admit I do rather like them (although at £1 they're a bit pricey for what they are). The batter's really light, so it's really just like eating a hot and gooey mars bar... rather than something which is totally smothered in batter like they tend to do to the sausages. I hate chippy sausages.
