I wish I could sleep! Normally I wake up between 5:30 and 6:30. This morning was the first time in forever that I actually slept almost until 8. During the days, I don't feel sleepy, but I also have no energy. And it's one of those things I never understood until I started to experience it for myself.
It's funny how nature arranges things so that by the time it's time for us to give birth we don't freaking care how much labor's going to hurt we WANT IT NOW PLEASE GET IT OVER WITH. >.>
That pretty much sums up how I'm feeling! Right now, it's kind of like, "I'll gladly take a day full of pain in order to just have my body back! Whenever you want, I'm ready!"
My mom and sister both were blessed with relatively short labors, so I'm praying I receive the same, but knowing my luck, I'll be the one in labor for 30+ hours and end up needing a c-section. Alas. All that matters is that the little peanut makes it out safe and sound. :)
*thinks* I was in labor for... let me think. I don't remember. The first faint contractions started in the middle of the night, around 3/4 AM ish? And I went under the knife around 7 PM? My memory's hazy. But the c-section was easy-peasy. I got to be awake during it!
