D'aww!
I don't think I posted about it here yet so I am going to share.... our new year bunny! We had no clue it was going to be the year of the rabbit. ;P
Here she is!
We aren't settled on a name for her yet, but in tossing them around we have come up with "Marabou." The reason for this is, we got her for free from the pet store because she was 'damaged goods' - she had injury to her middle toes on both rear feet, but the injury had healed over and didn't seem to bother her at all. It just made her toes look about as beautiful as the bald head of a marabou stork. >_>
Also come to find out that Marabou is also a brand of Swedish chocolate. :)
It's not officially her name yet, but eh. Who knows? I call her Bunny Bunny Bun for now.
She's sweet as can be, loves to snuggle, and loves to play. Right now we're limiting play area to the dining room rug (it helps that she doesn't care to wander onto the linoleum) and she gets to romp while I do my morning routine in the kitchen. She gets supervised playtime throughout the day, but really a ten minute run is enough to tucker her out. She's still so young!
Anyway, she's been with us for almost a week now, and has been adapting just fine to the household. It's nice to have a new little snuggle bug in the house, as I've been really missing the ferrets.
Back to work! Lunch is over. :P
