Back from EXP Con
We're back from the convention and trying to recover, hehe. :) Don't even have everything unpacked, we have all our boxes sitting in the living room. Whoops. I crashed when we got home last night.
Basically, EXP Con was a fantastic time and very productive! We met lots of people there, had a TON of fun and worked our butts off!!
I brought in a huge box of tails, and by the time we left at around 5:30 last night I was down to maybe ten left. D: They were a huge hit, as were the new style of ears I tried out! I hardly have any of those left, either.
I got in at around 9:45 on Friday morning to set up, the con opened at noon, and we were there until about 7pm. Saturday morning, up and at 'em by 10am, and stayed until about 9 pm because it was just so busy all day long! Then Sunday we got in around 10, I had a panel at 11 and then we stayed at our tables until we started breaking it down at around 5.
I must say I really love the artist's alley at EXP Con, the staff are fantastic and there were some really great artists there. :)
One of the biggest things is, we did have enough sales to cover the cost of our insurance deductible for our car that had been backed into, we had no idea where we were going to get that from but there it is. We might even be able to finally get new tires for the second car and finally have two fully-operational vehicles, LOL. :D
So yeh, all in all it was a fantastic weekend, I feel a little cruddy but a full day of rest and DRINKING WATER will help that out. I'll be zoning out and just producing tails today, get those out of the way and more fun stuff to come later this week. ;) Also if you have e-mailed me in the past couple of days I will be getting to that this afternoon, my head is full of fuzz this morning so I want to be coherent when I actually answer them. ;D
