BARF!
Quick entry before I run to work, and run I have to do!! Eeek! :P
Our trip to Tampa was TONS of fun, we enjoyed the Bay Area Ren Fest, and Reo had a good time with us too. The dog was so beat he slept the entire way home, and slept the entire day yesterday too. But everything we saw was really fun, and the setting was beautiful! Under all these giant large oak trees.
I got a henna tatt of a paw print, and it was really cute because the girls at that tent let me bring Reo in with me to sit at my feet while the one girl worked, but instead of sitting at my feet Reo got comfy on all their floor pillows. Hah! They cooed over that for sure.
After we were done there (there was so MUCH to SEE!) we headed on the route back home, stopping in Orlando for dinner. We met brace_bear and jugularjaguar for Macaroni Grill, but the restaurant was packed so we walked over to Chili's instead. Dinner was good, the poor waitress seemed like she was new (and intimidated) so she kind of took a long time but better than some experiences I've had with waiters that take a long time... at least she was friendly. :P
When we were done with dinner we were sayin' goodbye to the guys in the parking lot, and Joe was showing off some of his chain maille bracelets he was wearing. wilfox34, pay attention to this part. ;)
While we were in the parking lot a couple of raccoons skittered across the row farther down, headed for the trash dumpster, but they were spooked off by a car pulling in. So JJ grabs one of Joe's shiney bracelets and waves it in the air in the general direction of the raccoons, and to his surprise (duh) the raccoons skittered back out again. XD But they decided they would be more interested in the garbage than the shiney, I guess. ;P
So we had a pretty uneventful trip home, oh, except for the spider that decided to crawl on the roof of the car in front of Joe while he was driving. But I was passed out in the back seat from exhaustion so I guess I missed that. ;)
Yesterday was good, Village Inn for breakfast <3 and then a walk on the beach. The weather has been so beautiful and I hope it keeps this up. :)
Now to begin a new work week... hooray! :P
