Trunk or Treat
Last year our church had a Halloween event called "Trunk or Treat." Basically church members register to bring their cars to the church parking lot, we park them in a row, and the kids go "trick-or-treating" from car to car. Everyone decorates their cars with fall/Halloween decorations and the kids have a safe place to gather candy and socialize. I had Skittle there last year, and it was a BLAST! We're definitely going to do it again this year.
They have a contest for the 'best decorated car' and we were trying to come up with a theme for our car. Last year my friends had their car decorated as a whale and had a scene for Jonah and the whale inside. It won!! It was pretty cute. Joe and I had a lot of fall/pumpkin stuff to decorate our car but I wanted to do a cute theme this year, just no idea what! It can be pretty much anything except for "scary" things, like skeletons/bats/spiders/ghosts/etc. Maybe we'll be able to come up with something cute. :)
