Good Morning :)

Joe and I are at the Quality Inn in Kissimmee, where we're staying for Elliott's this weekend. We stayed here earlier this year with nomadfox and were impressed with the cleanliness and quality of the place for the price. $45 a night and not a single mold spot in the bathroom, no nasty chipped bathroom counter, the sheets are clean and the mattress itself is in good shape and no nasty spots on it, either. This place doesn't look so nice from the outside but the rooms are what matter. We were a little disappointed that the hot tub looks real cloudy so we weren't going to bother with it last night. D:

If Megaplex ever does move back to Orlando we'll probably stay in this hotel again. It's a great one! ^_^

Last night we hit BD's Mongolian BBQ in Altamonte Springs. Guys, if you're ever in that area, and you get a chance, GO THERE! They have great food. This one is bigger than the one my mom's got up in Michigan. They have TONS of selection and their salad bar's not half bad either. :) You can pick any meats and any veggies... and they have the makings for not just Chinese dishes but many Mexican or American dishes too. We had a nice dinner, and then went on to the hotel. A big group of teenagers is staying here so they were noisy outside but our room is on a corner so we slept pretty well, actually. :) Joe is still sleeping now; I've been up since about 6:30. Of course I went to bed at 10, so...

This lack of sugar thing has actually been kicking my butt pretty bad. It all started Thursday night when I went to give Reo a bath, and I found my legs shaking and the muscles really sore. I had to sit down for most of the night. Even today, my legs are still sore. I talked to one lady at work who works there part time (she oversees the company's wellness program, in addition to helping answer phones and stuff) and she works part time as a nutritionist. She said that it was very likely my body wasn't sure what to munch on since that sugar's just not there any more. She suggested lots of protein (chicken) and lots of complex carbs (brown rice, grains, etc.) so that my body has something to give it energy. So last night at the Mongolian BBQ I got a big salad (did I say their salad bar was awesome? The greens mixture even contained spinach!) and my meat dish was chicken and broccoli with carrot slivers, and brown rice. I hope my muscles are munchin' on that all day today. :) I also got some Vitamin Water at a gas station and it helped perk me up for the rest of the evening.

So my attempt in getting rid of the sodas has actually been a PAINFUL one, and that's no fun but I look forward to just breaking out on the other side and not having to worry about depending on sodas any more. It will be nice, just like when I cut out the aspartame.

I'm gonna see if I can wake Joe up now, it's almost 7:30 and we want to hit the breakfast in the lobby. They have a waffle maker! :D
