Goings On...
Well, all's been quiet on the art front here because I've been real busy with work over the holiday weekend, and then I picked up a shift today to switch with my coworker so I don't have to work Friday. We were going to leave Friday morning but are thinking about leaving tomorrow night so we have a full day in NC. It all depends on whether or not we get everything done tonight.
So far we have to:
- Pack
- Do quick paintings for my sister's graduation gift (she just wants big canvasses splashed with color; easy enough)
- Clean the ferret and bird cages, bathe ferrets, dog
- Do the dishes (run the dishwasher)
- Finish laundry (I have one load going now; one more to go)
- Take out the trash (collection is tomorrow morning)
- Quick clean of the rest of the house - easy enough since Joe cleaned for our MemDay gathering. Run the vacuum, pick up a few things... not too hard to do.
If we can get all that done (which, really, it's not a lot) we can leave tomorrow night after I'm done at work.
Then we can have a full day in Raleigh to take it easy before making the drive up to Michigan... we can go to the Asian market (woo!! good ramen) and just relax a little bit.
We'll see where we are tonight. For right now, I'm going to do a little bit of web site stuff to prove I've been working on cropping/touching up images for the store's web site... I have about 5 hours' worth of time I haven't reported to them yet, and that's my "vacation pay." ;P Also by uploading the pics to the site, even if I haven't used them yet, that allows me to be able to work on the site in Michigan or Ohio (or even NC) if I have the chance.
So, off I go, to get stuff done! Gotta leave for work in about half an hour... how much can I get done? We'll see!!
