So I've been at college for a month now, and I like it. I had mixed emotions about being at college. I wasn't sure if I would like it here, or if I would get homesick. I acutally do like it here, Houghton is great. As for getting homesick, I think about what I left at home every now and then, but I don't get all depressed and such. College is a big step, and thus far I've made it on my own.
I've been playing a lot of table tennis lately. I even went and bought my own paddle, because the paddles that McNair has are shitty, and I couldn't put up with them. I'm getting a lot better. I never thought that I would be able to play as well as I have.
Girls, are few and far between. From what people from last year are saying, there are (or seem to be) a lot more girls this year than last year. That's good. I hear most of them are biomedical engineering majors. In that major, there is actually a girl to guy ratio. It's 4 to 1. I guess all those Biomed Engineers are lucky guys. But I bet they're still too nerdy for a lot of them. There are three girls that I have noticed so far who have caught my eye. Should be fun, I hope.
I copied to my computer the new Green Day CD today during a lecture....I didn't even know who the kid was. He just started talking to me, and then we talked about music and he showed me that he had it. So he let me copy it to my computer. Horray! It is a pretty good CD.
Good day all!

"Wake Me Up When September Ends"
By Green Day
Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
wake me up when September ends.
Like my father's come to pass
seven years has gone so fast.
Wake me up when September ends.
Here comes the rain again
falling from the stars.
Drenched my pain again
becoming who we are.
As my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost.
Wake me up when September ends.
Summer has come and passed
the innocent can never last.
Wake me up when September ends.
Ring out the bells again
like we did when spring began.
Wake me up when September ends.
Here comes the rain again
falling from the stars.
Drenced my pain again
becoming who we are.
As memory rests
but never forgets what I lost.
Wake me up before September ends.
Like my father's come to pass
twenty years has gone so fast.
Wake me up when September ends.
Wake me up when September ends.
Wake me up when September ends.
