As each day ends, a new one begins. Life must go on.

Yesterday was definitely soothing.

Woke up about 10, cleaned the house a bit, Jason came over and then we went out to the lake to go fishing.

The ride out there was nice. Wind blowing by us cooling us down on a rather warm day. Relaxing. When we got out there my parents were already out on the boat with my brother. Jason and I joined them and then the fishing began. My brother caught a fish within 15 seconds of starting and he was catching them all day. I caught a lot more fish than I expected. I also caught my first bass ever. It was about 5-6 inches...just a small one. All of the fish we were catching we hooked in strange spots, the lips, eye socket, the eye, the fish weren't swallowing the hook. Then I caught a bluegill and he swallowed the whole hook....so the hook itself was probably in its brain. You could barely even see the hook when you looked in the mouth.

We were out fishing from 12:30-1 until 6:30. All together we caught about 30 fish, kept none. None of them were worth keeping.

Got home about 8:30 and then I went over to Brit's house. Brent McCall, Amy Gnotek, Lisa Collison, and one of Brit's other friends were there just sittin outside so I joined them. After I went to a movie. That's a whole other story.

I went with a big group, John, Kristen, Doug, Tracy, Tim, Trisha, Carissa, Brett, and Adam. First we went to go see Napoleon Dynamite. We were in the theater for about 15-20 minutes and then we left. The movie sucked. It was retarded. We went back to the box office and told the lady there that we wanted to see Manchurian Candidate instead. That was a good movie but it took a long time to develop.

We got out of the movie theater at around midnight and I was all high on caffiene due to drinking numerous amounts of Mountain Dew so I did not want to go home. What did I do instead you ask? I drove out to Bay City. I was bored, I needed the drive. I drove down Bay Road until I got to the Salzburg and Euclid intersection. I stopped at the 7-11 there, got a bag of chips and a pop, then turned around and drove home.

Brit stopped by after I got home to borrow some alan wrenches to work on her rollerblades.

It was good to just sit back most of the day and relax.

That was my day.
