Less than 4 weeks left.
So I'm over here at Bub's house updating because my computer is still all jacked up. Playing poker I just went all in and lost a really tough hand, but there was nothing that I could have done about it. She just had a better hand. Yes, I said "she", I lost to a girl....anyone would have beat me if they had the hand she had. I'm not pissed at all, it's poker, that's how it goes.
So today I got my letter from Michigan Tech letting me know what room I'm in and who my roommate is. Jason Lee is still my roommate. We're in room 214 East McNair Hall. Also I checked online and today I found out how much financial aid I'm getting. For next year I'm getting $9,175. Not too shabby. Just about half of that is in loans that I will have to pay back but that's okay. I'm actually getting a lot more than I thought I would which is super cool.
Twenty-seven days from now I am gone. Friday, August 20, 2004 is when I leave for college. Knowing that it is that close makes me really excited, but at the same time I'm nervous. I'm actually going to college. That is so awesome.
I am having a going-away bonfire for myself on Friday, August 13, 2004 at my house. All are welcome because it will probably be the last time you see me for a while. If you need directions to my house just let me know and I shall give them to you.
I got accused of stealing money out of the cash register at work on Thursday. I was so pissed because one of my co-workers ratted me out, even though I didn't do anything. The chick that ratted me out, we've been having a feuding friendship since the day I started. We had some major issues between the two of us. We managed to get through them and then she had to go do this shit. Oh well. My last day working there is August 10th, then I'm just relaxing and will most likely spend a lot of my time out camping at our RV before I leave.
I'm ready to go now, I think I am ready for college.
Bring it on Michigan Technological University. You can't handle Schanzy. You can't handle Schanzy and JLee teamed up either. Bring it.
