Girding my loins and packing my bags
Well I'm flying up to Scotland tomorrow ! Have done no packing yet but have been backwards and forwards to the launderette to get some clean clothes and have downloaded all the addresses and details of the B&Bs. Rather alarmingly there are no TVs in the rooms at the second one which means we might actually be forced into talking to the proprietor (who appears resplendently bearded and kilted on the web site) or the other guests. Scary ! The lurgy I had at the start of the week has gone now to be replaced by a rattling cough that makes me sound like a C19th consumption victim. I feel fine but I might be wheezing more than usual on the steeper bits. Need to remember lots of extra jumpers and a waterproof when I pack tonight and a couple of good books. It could be a long week if it's lashing down in the Mamores !
