Busy, busy, busy that's me
On Tuesday daughter number 1 and I flew to Dublin for the day...tiring [ and then some] We caught the 6.30 flight from Liverpool John Lennon and the 11.45 back from Dublin and in between we shopped, ate, walked, bussed and sailed.
Upon arrival at LJL, we were forced to eat muffins etc and once in Dublin hunger struck again and bagels were consumed...then ice-cream. We took a 4 hour bus trip...commented upon by a very amusing Tour Guide/bus driver. Visiting Dun Laogohaire,Dalkey,Enniskerry...lots of places really
We had a delicious meal of soup and cheeses and irish bread and walked in Powerscourt Gardens... we went through the time quite quickly.... and the money !!!
Then we sailed on the Liffey. I HATE boats, but this wasn't too bad and another amusing Tour Guide...but what can you expect from the Irish.
On to the Auld Dubliner where we listened to Live Irish Music ..ha... it could have been a little more 'live' 'cept they kept popping out for a ciggy...Dublin public buildings are non-smoking these days... but the people aren't.
Very tired, so on the bus back to the Airport where we sampled yet more food !!!
Arrived back home 1.52, straight to bed.!
