She gave me these of my icons to write about and so I will! :)
Another from the French film "La Voyage D'Lune" (that's probably wrong!) A British band called The Wonderstuff used this pic too for an album called "Hup". I loved the picture since then really and that was donkey's years ago! Rather a lovely idea I always felt, that the moon was looking out for you. I use this icon arbitrarily and with joy! :)
Ah..a lovely line from Don Quixote and i drew the picture on the PC in a spare moment! I read a kids version of the story years ago and haven't fought my way through the real one. It really refers to an exercise of heroic futility. It comes from the fact that Quixote tries to fight windmills thinking they are monsters. I quote:
Just then they came in sight of thirty or forty windmills that rise from that plain. And no sooner did Don Quixote see them that he said to his squire, "Fortune is guiding our affairs better than we ourselves could have wished. Do you see over yonder, friend Sancho, thirty or forty hulking giants? I intend to do battle with them and slay them. With their spoils we shall begin to be rich for this is a righteous war and the removal of so foul a brood from off the face of the earth is a service God will bless."
"What giants?" asked Sancho Panza.
"Those you see over there," replied his master, "with their long arms. Some of them have arms well nigh two leagues in length."
"Take care, sir," cried Sancho. "Those over there are not giants but windmills. Those things that seem to be their arms are sails which, when they are whirled around by the wind, turn the millstone."
Barrowman bum! It was from Ice dancing with the Stars, or whatever it was called. Does one need a reason for this icon? Of course, following this he did fall on his arse after this....
Crystal Tipps! When I was a kid, big hair meant getting called Crystal Tipps because it was a kids cartoon show. She was mad and had big purple hair! I use this icon for bad hair days! :)
MASH! The icon of the
mashed_potatos community. We will be back...at some point!
The lovely Graham Coxon (ex-Blur guitarist). He's a favourite musician of mine but I also just love this pic! I use it mainly when I'm tired! :)

I use this for fic with my lovely Tosh and I will AT SOME POINT write some more of my OT3...that being Jack/Ianto/Tosh. She's gorgeous, as is the lady who made the icon! :)
