A little straw poll, due to something which has happened at work, but not to me or particularly related to me. I am just interested in other people's opinions.
1. If you have a private mobile and work wish to have the number, do you give it to them?
2. Is it acceptable for your employer to then call you on that number during your lunch-hour, on holiday, evenings, that sort of thing?
As I said, it's not happened to me - everyone here who wants it has my mobile number and if I'm on lunch and my boss rings and I don't want to talk to him... I don't answer. If he leaves a voicemail I will listen and, if it's not urgent, I call him back when I am back at my desk. That's my view on it. However, if it's something everso important, then I probably will deal with it.
