Holiday piccies

Well, here are some at least.  I might do some more, about Lepe Beach and Hurst Castle - both of which I found most impressive with my spoddy history hat on.  These are just random snaps. The first is my favourite and all of my family think I'm mad! :)




Trees!





Pony.... For my non-English friends, the New Forest is famous for er...forest and New Forest Ponies which wander around in the joint.  They are however, very lovely and pose very beautifully for pictures.




Beaches:







Lepe Beach - This is a beach where there's a lot of structures still in place from the work that went in pre-D-Day during WW2.  Very interesting place:






Keyhaven - This is the place where we stayed.  I decided I rather liked taking pictures of moonrisings and sunsets...





And finally, the Lighthouse at Hurst Castle and the view of the Isle of Wight / The Needles from the spit leading to the Castle.  Unsurprisingly, after I took the lighthouse picture there was a big fuck-off storm!:
