Before I collapse into bed...
I would like to share some oddities from Sunday.
I went to Stowe to study. I amped it round to the Temple of Venus, which I borrowed. As those who attended my birthday can attest to, this is not the first time I have borrowed a temple. Anyway, on the walk round, my skirt was eaten by my bag. Yes, I did manage to show a lot of Stowe my backside, though, no people, which is pretty epic going.
On reaching the temple, I realised that I had picked the spot behind which the Stoics (students of Stowe School) like to lounge. I overheard the following morsels.
Female Stoic: "Oh my God, I completely need a chaise lounge." (Said after wtinessing a goose. You're hoping there will be more to this, but there isn't. She looked at the goose and demanded glamour furniture)
Male Stoic: "But mate, it's hot. Wanna share my blanket? It's... hot."
Female Stoic to two posing friends: "Be sexy and shit... I said sexy... Retards."
Male Stoics: "Do you think you could ride a goose?"
Female: "Ugh, it's too hot to walk. Or sit, or... Ugh, it's just hot."
(Was I writing down the mindless drivel of stoics as well as my revision..? Might've been.)
I also completely annoyed a photo spod. I say this as a photo spod myself. It takes one to know one. He wanted to take a picture of the temple. I was in the way. Did he ask me to move? Nah, he just kept wandering off and then returning and peaking around the edge. it was very funny.
Also say a little tiny dog chasing and retrieving a tennis ball. The tennis ball was bigger than the dog's head and he still managed it. I almost died of cute overload.
Finally, I took some pictures of sheep. Sheep rock. Oh, and I adopted a tile which will end up in the roof of the renovated New Inn. Yes, this did make me very, very happy.
