Here Come The Girls

The women of awesome gorgeousness: Part the first.
Music is the theme for this little lot.

The gorgeous Patti Smith.  I don't find her sexy for looks, but because she's Patti Smith. Here's a picture of him with the fabulous Robert Mapplethorpe. The sexiest non sexual couple ever.

Lydia Lunch.  Ferocious, terrifying and rather fabulous.

Joan Wasser (aka. Joan as Police Woman, aka, that woman from The Dambuilders.  She's got the sort of voice which tells you she's lived a real life.  Plus, punk-violin... quite sexy.

Queen Latifah.  Fierce.

Debbie Harry.  Blondie were falling to pieces when I was young and heard them.  I still found "Heart of Glass" and "Atomic" intriguing and rather fabulous.

Madonna... But only of a certain era. The early to mid 1980's.  She was very sexy.  Honest.  "like A Virgin" was, along with "Relax" the rebel records of my early youth.  Both were banned from school discos.  I miss banned records. It added something to the music industry.

Amanda Palmer.   Do I need to say more?

The Winehouse.  Before the drugs and the terrfying skinny.

The gorgeous Poison Ivy from the cramps.  Look at the boots, the guitar, the zebra print stage.  What's there to not love?

Courtney Love. I love her.  That is all.  In the second to last picture she's next to Mrs Slash.   She also makes me drool.  If anything ever happens to Slash, I will volunteer to offer comfort and support.  That's all I'm sayin.

Paloma Faith.  She wears fucking fabulous shoes.

Martha Wainwright (the final shot with her mum, Kate MacGarrigle, and brother, Rufus.  Martha is... a chanteuse on one hand and sometimes a bit of a twat.  I like that in a woman.

The gorgeous Florence.  I adore her confidence, her voice and her sense of style.  Gotta love a woman who co-ordinates her frock and her drink.
