The snake was somebody's pet! They disappeared so housekeeping brought him to me. I dunno why someone would keep a snake as a pet! They need space to hunt and don't like the cold.

I found the scorpions in the barn! They were in the feed and I didn't want them to sting someone.

A snake as a pet...still, if they're small and non-venomous, I can't see them causing too much damage.

Be careful with the scorpions, though. Especially with a lot of them.

Yes, there's a fairly good chance of it. But either way, if it's not too late just keep all the scorpions apart and there shouldn't be any problems.
