Little bit of Rowena, 11x10; (Poem: Bainrigh)

Bainrigh

Look at the little witch with her feet in the water,

one sickle moon from magic, one fruit-

split athame from hooves, leathers, hung

(lime and salt, potash and dung)

skins for a daughter-tanner a-brood

with scot-earth,  and wide waters

for a green-eyed demon-mother one babe

from hell, books, locks, spell;

little hellqueen,  lie-prince bride--

and the sedge gone pale, and sickened, and died.
